The sea is an incredibly hostile and dangerous place to live, work and trade, and is governed by international regulations founded on experience built up over hundreds (if not thousands) of years to ensure safety on the water (at sea, rivers, lakes and inland waterways) is maintained as far as it possible can be.
Although rich in opportunity, the world of maritime business is also intellectually challenging.
The only real and sensible solution for both newcomers and established maritime businesses alike is to work with experts who’ve been there before and know exactly what it takes to achieve success when doing business at or with the sea.
And that’s where we come in…
The Maritime Group International – also known throughout world shipping circles as TMG – is a world-class, international maritime services company and consultancy, providing solutions for all of your business needs.
We work to the highest professional standards and deliver results in a timely and cost-effective manner.
We have one of the greatest networks of global maritime connected operatives and together with our strategic partners can offer complete competitive maritime business solutions.
All at TMG have more than a great respect for the sea and all that comes with it, brought on by combined years of experience in working, living and operating both afloat and ashore.
Our experts are extremely knowledgeable about the minefield of regulations and pitfalls governing safety, security, management and operations at sea.
Within the TMG organization and together with our strategic partners, there are marine engineers, port civil engineers, port planners, port operators, economists, environmentalists, financial experts, maritime lawyers, ship brokers, traffic experts, naval architects, port architects, surveyors for both ports and vessels, marketing experts, maritime security experts, IT and communication experts and more.
TMG is the world’s premier specialist marine service agency in ferry and cruise, including high speed ferries. Some of our other areas of expertise, but not by any means all, include operations; business advice; bid development support; safety and security; ship brokerage; port development, marketing, operation and management; business development; inspections and audits; technical services, litigation services and expert witnesses.
